A new website for the Town Hall of Sector 1, a platform that updates real-time data on road infrastructure works in Sector 1.
In 2022, a framework agreement was signed under which the local administration is to carry out repairs, rehabilitate and modernize approximately 1,000 streets under the administration of the District 1 City Hall. We are talking about the largest road infrastructure rehabilitation program in the history of the District 1.
ABOUT the City Hall of Sector 1, Bucharest
The Bucharest Sector 1 City Hall is one of the six sectorial city halls in the city. It covers the northern part of the capital and includes neighborhoods such as Dorobanti, Aviatiei, Băneasa and others. In general, the town hall is responsible for managing various public services in the sector, such as town planning, local taxes, population records and more. It is led by Ms. Clotilde Armand as mayor, and the local administration works to ensure the well-being of the community in Sector 1.
REQUEST
The project was a big challenge because it was necessary to integrate an OpenStreetMap map system with the WordPress platform so that everything works in a unified way and with administration only from the WP interface.
Citizens of Sector 1 can thus find out through this portal about when their street enters the rehabilitation program, which roads are in the design phase, which are awaiting the vote in the City Council or which are in the asphalting and modernization phase.
Another request was for the citizens of sector 1 to be able to send pictures and any information they consider useful related to the street they live on.
SERVICES
Our challenge was to deliver a portal built in a very short time.
A responsive map with real-time updates has been integrated and customized.
The search module for a street is a special one. An alphabetical and numerical street management filter is also included.
The project package includes maintenance and hosting services for 3 years.
