Decathlon – development of the “Simply Car” application

Decathlon is a world-renowned brand specializing in the manufacturing and production of sporting goods. The Decathlon team contacted us because they were looking for an innovative solution to streamline the shipping, transfers, and inventory of items available in their warehouses.

ABOUT Decathlon

The Decathlon brand was founded in 1976 in France and is one of the largest sellers of sporting goods in the world. It is known for its value for money and the extremely wide range of products it offers. Currently, the company is present in 52 stores worldwide and has a total of over 1600 stores worldwide.

OBJECTIVE

Given the large volume of products to manage, we developed a solution that started precisely from the desire to streamline transfers between stores and warehouses. Thus, we created an application that allows for the optimization of the packaging reception, shipping and inventory processes, by centrally taking over transfers, shipping from a central warehouse and maximizing the loading of packaging stocks.

SERVICES

The services we provided to Decathlon consisted of the continuous development and streamlining of existing applications and the creation of new ones to facilitate all internal procedures within the company. Thus, we created the “Simply Car” application, which facilitates all freight transfers and allows access to important information related to product inventory and shipping.
